The partnership will continue the investment strategy employed by CFSI and the CFSI Catalyst Fund. The General Partner is led by principals Arjan Schütte and Michael Harris. Arjan and Mike have an extensive, positive history of venture investing and growth company governance and management.
Arjan Schütte is the Managing Partner of the General Partner and serves as Senior Advisor to the Center for Financial Services Innovation; both focus on financial services for the un- and underbanked. Arjan is a recognized industry expert and has a background in private equity-funded technology companies. He is cited broadly, including in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and BusinessWeek, and is regularly invited to speak at conferences and industry events as well as universities such as at MIT, Harvard and Yale. Michael Harris is a Managing Partner of the General Partner, and has over 15 years experience in venture capital, M&A, operations, and technology. He has extensive Board of Director experience and has helped direct growth and business development strategies in several health care, business services, and technology companies. Mike was also a partner in a venture capital firm with upper quartile returns when compared to the same vintage and style venture funds.
